6.6.8
Happy Birthday to P. Calavara! To celebrate, enjoy not one, not two, but three new projects!
The first is Lusus Naturae, an actual printed
comic available through our webshop our your corner comic book store if you harass them enough to carry our work.
The second is P. Calavara's Hamlet. A
light-hearted romp through Shakespeare's greatest tragedy. Updating three times a week for the next two weeks,
Hamlet is the first installment of P. Calavara's new focus on drawing whatever we happen to be reading at our
offices. Two new pieces of art from this new series are available in our shop.
When Hamlets run is completed, look for, perhaps, a new project appearing here.
Finally, in conjunction with The Evergreen State College,
we have produced Dead Robot Magazine, a
magazine of artistic storytelling. This is currently only available at
The Olympia Comic Festival and Danger Room Comics In Olympia,
but we will attempt to soon make some copies available here.
Boy, have we been busy! Plus, as always, an episode of Bathos published every Tuesday to enlighten, educate and
entertain. Also: new stuff in our Shop and we're now, technically,
a publisher. Isn't that nutty?
6.4.8
Holy Gosh, I completely forgot we had put a news section on this website. So, what's new?
Last week celebrated the 100th episode of Bathos. This week will see P. Calavara attending the
Olympia Comics Fest
with both a new comic (non-Bathos related) and some work appearing in a FREE comic magazine put out by the
Evergreen State College and edited by our own Rick Perry. A website will be setup for this, so check back
soon.
This week celebrates the beginning of year three for Bathos and, being as Friday is P.'s
birthday, there will be gifts in the form of some new non-Bathos related material appearing on the site.
You can check back here or at the NeverKnows.com homepage for links as these appear.
2.19.8
Well, today is our live push, including a complete redesign and a new product in the
NK shop. This will, of course, mean some errors and
typos and dead links, so if you see anything like that, please
report them or die trying.
2.12.8
Diligently building new design stuff together to hopefully end the week with a rational site. The existing
one was no Athena, but was instead a mutating thing that got stuck together Frankenstein like from
the bits and pieces we found to pass the time and serve whatever purpose needed serving. Will the new site be all
grand unified theory or will it be string theory, hecka sounding great but really is just gibberish?
Only time will tell!
